Character Intros Taking Too Long

Hi, i just bought the game under Heather Stinnett. I had played through the trial before, and the part where you are getting the party together at the beginning went fine, and everything. This time I'm playing back through, and I'm where Vera first joins, and all the introductions of them leaving and joining the party are taking upwards of 30 seconds each. Is it supposed to take this long? It doesn't seem to serve a purpose. Sitting there waiting for the game to continue gets kind of annoying, especially when it's something that is happening back and forth. Any ideas?

Yeah, the intros should only be up for a few seconds, not 30. Some people had some trouble with this too; however, this isn't a bug and can be fixed by changing an in-game setting. Check Daniel's post in this thread to find out how: viewtopic.php?f=45&t=1234

Thanks, that fixed it. Didn't know what the option was for so i turned it on not knowing.
